If your boiler’s pressure keeps dropping, it’s usually due to a leak in the system, a faulty pressure relief valve (PRV), or an issue with the expansion vessel.
Small leaks in pipes, radiators, or valves are the most common cause. Look out for damp patches, water stains, or rust on pipes or radiators. Other indicators include flaking or bubbling paint on skirting boards. Recent radiators bleeding can also temporarily reduce pressure.
If you can’t spot an obvious leak, there may be a fault with one of the components that needs attention from a Gas Safe registered engineer.
