What a pleasure it was to present a cheque to Lollipop in York with some money we raised at our last Golf Day. The photo shows Ted Illingworth with niece Freya and Gary from Lollipop.
Lollipop is a charity set up to help children and young people with hearing loss.
Why Lollipop?
Deafness can be extremely isolating. This can mean that many deaf children & young people have delayed language, having knock on effects on to social, emotional and educational development.
Lollipop is a place that children and young people with hearing loss can go to relax and socialise with each other and their families.
