First, don’t panic! If you have ordered more heating oil than your central heating oil tank can take, you will only be charged for the number of litres delivered.
If you have paid in advance, we will refund you the difference upon request - just give us a buzz on 01423 770 666 or email us at helpoil@northernenergy.co.uk, or, if you prefer, the money can sit on your account as a credit balance and be deducted from your next order of home heating oil.
However, it's a good idea to regularly check your fuel level and to get to know your heating oil tank and how much it holds, as well as when's the best time to place your order.
