Boilers

The first thing to do is to check that you haven't run out of heating oil.

If your tank is empty, call us on 01423 770 666 and we'll schedule a delivery as soon as possible. You will need to restart your boiler once you've received your top-up - read our tips on what to do if your boiler is locked out, and if you can't get it to restart, you will need to call an OFTEC registered oil heating engineer who will get you up and running before you know it.

Other reasons your boiler isn't working could include faulty parts that can prevent your boiler from igniting, for instance, blockages in air filters or nozzles, and in winter, frozen pipes.

Good maintenance is key to keeping your boiler in tip-top condition. An annual boiler service by your OFTEC engineer is recommended, and while there are some things you can do if you're boiler has locked out, it's best to leave issues such as faulty parts or blockages to the experts.
