Your bulk LPG storage tank will be inspected by your driver each time your receive an LPG refill, who will report back any maintenance issues to our in-house engineering team.

If any hazards such as overgrown vegetation, clutter, or combustible materials in the area around your tank are identified, our customer service team will get in touch with you to let you know what needs doing, why and advise on how to keep the area surrounding your tank safe, well ventilated and following LPG tank regulations.

A LPG storage tank typically has a service life of around 30 years before it needs to be replaced. Our in-house engineering team will perform a statutory inspection of your tank every 10 years to meet obligations under Pressure Systems Safety Regulations, but if your tank fails these inspections, it may need to be replaced sooner.

Whilst, as your LPG supplier, we are responsible for maintaining your tank, we would recommend you check your tank yourself on a regular basis for signs of rust or corrosion, wear and tear, or leaks.  Read our blog on LPG tank safety tips for some useful guidance and tips on how to safe LPG storage.
