The following Terms and Conditions apply to all customers on the Northern Energy Boiler Service Agreement:
- By participating in the Boiler Service Agreement, you agree to Northern Energy arranging for your boiler to be serviced annually by a fully qualified OFTEC registered engineer for an agreed fee.
- The Boiler Service Agreement will remain in place until such time as it is terminated in writing by either party.
- Payment for the boiler service will be made to Northern Energy by the customer by the agreed method, either by monthly direct debit or by variable direct debit which will collect the full amount due on the 10th of the month following the invoice for the boiler service being raised and debited to the customer’s Northern Energy account for Premium Package customers. For customers not on the Premium Package, payment will be required in full.
- Appliances will be inspected and cleaned, and the Northern Energy Boiler Service Agreement also covers the replacement of the fuel nozzle and filter when required.
- The Northern Energy Boiler Service Agreement does not cover the replacement of any additional parts or any further labour. Any additional work is chargeable to the customer directly by the engineer attending.
- On completion of the boiler service, the engineer will leave a CD/11 Oil Firing Servicing and Commissioning report with the customer, or forward at a later date where appropriate.
- In the event of any dispute arising in respect of a boiler service, please refer to our complaints procedure. Should you wish to make a formal complaint, you can write to our Customer Service team at our Head Office and we will endeavour to respond to you within 2 working days. Should you not be happy with the outcome of your dispute, you may refer your complaint to Utilities ADR, a division of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Limited, who is authorised by the Government under the Alternative Dispute Resolution service for consumer disputes (Competent Authorities and Information) Regulations 2015 to provide an independent review of complaints and dispute resolution service.
