You may want to erect a fence around your LPG tank to keep it out of sight. After all, they’re not the most attractive garden feature. However, there are some important guidelines and regulations you must follow that are there to ensure LPG tank safety at all times.
If you’re putting up a fence, you must leave a certain distance between the LPG tank and the fence – the size of your LPG tank itself determines the distance.
It's important to ensure there is adequate ventilation around the tank so, in the event of a leak, it prevents any build-up of gas. Do not enclose your tank with solid fences on any more than two sides and only use non-flammable materials.
