Northern Energy has teamed up with UK Fuel Cards to provide you with a comprehensive fuel card service which will meet and surpass the requirements of your business, at the same time providing you with a personal account manager on hand to supply you with support should you ever experience any problems or have any queries. This service is offered to all our existing customers, and is also available to you even if you have not used Northern Energy before. Where can I use the UK Fuel Card?

UK Fuels has over 6,500 sites available and The UK Fuel Card is welcomed across the whole of the UK, Jersey and Guernsey, with sites such as Morrisons, Co-Op, Texaco, Total, BP, Shell, Gulf and Emo to name but a few, so finding a site will never be a problem.

Not only are you able to collect diesel with your UK Fuel Card, it also allows you to collect Ad Blue, a product which reduces emissions of oxides of nitrogen from diesel, and in addition you can also buy gas oil and lubricant oil.

With the easy-to-use sat nav download, along with a telephone application which identifies all available sites from where you can pull products, no matter where you are you will never be far away from being able to collect some fuel.

Setting up your account

  • We supply your company with the number of cards you require and each card can either be assigned to a vehicle registration number or an authorised person – you choose.
  • You would inform us of the products you wish to allow your drivers to collect then these products are assigned to your cards.
  • You will have on line access to site locations and/or a paper directory.
  • Credit Terms would be approved and a direct debit set up for easy payment.
  • The facility to view your account online is available so you can see collections and charges.
    Invoices are raised weekly. We have the facility to email these to you, or if you prefer they can be posted.
  • Your new card(s) will be sent to you by return and your pin number(s) will follow under separate cover, and then you are good to start drawing your fuel.

UK Fuel Card Security

With theft becoming more of an issue, by not holding the stock at home or at your business premises, you are protecting your asset. It’s also safer for both the company and the driver in that you do not have to handle cash or reimburse staff for expenses.

All transactions are recorded and each card has its own unique pin number, this making it less likely for you to be attacked by fraudulent measures.

Should a card be stolen, a quick phone call to your account manager on 01423 770 668 allows us to cancel your card immediately and order you a replacement, preventing someone else from using your card.

Administration

As part of Northern Energy’s commitment to you we would provide you with a weekly statement of drawings so you know exactly how much fuel has been taken by each driver or vehicle and can keep on top of your fuel spend, this improving the administrative process, making it accurate and simple, which is an asset when running a fleet of vehicles.

We have been very impressed with the service received from Northern Energy. The team are always very friendly and always willing to help in any which way they can.
