I had ordered this oil shortly before the first major snowfall in mid-December, and I was particularly grateful for its delivery because my tanks had run very low and I was beginning to be quite concerned. Although the public roads were in a reasonable state the same could not be said of the half mile track up to my house. I want senior management of your company to know how impressed I was by the determination, initiative and skill demonstrated by your driver in making the delivery in conditions, which would have deterred most. I should also stress that he accomplished everything without at any stage putting anything at risk. Altogether it was the most impressive performance and the sort of thing which does a huge amount to create customer loyalty

We needed an oil delivery the day the snow arrived and the tanker duly arrived the next day. We are 200 yards from the road with a difficult slope on the outward journey. We had already had a wagon stuck that morning and luckily our neighbour was around to tow him out with his tractor. However, your delivery driver arrived, in reverse and proceeded to dig and sand himself two tracks to enable him to negotiate the tricky outward journey after the delivery. The exit was performed in copy book style and we would like to thank the company, and in particular your driver, for a performance over and above our expectations. I live at the end of a steeply inclined single track road. I have been out of gas for 2 days and requested a tank refill and had given up on a delivery because of the weather. Suddenly from out of a blizzard a large tanker drove into view. The driver, knowing that we were out of gas, had struggled up our hill, stopping every few yards to shovel salt and grit on the road so that he could deliver.

Many others would have seen the snow and road conditions and turned round and gone home. He did not. Please thank him on my behalf
