Boiler Servicing
Having your boiler serviced annually makes sense - it can reduce your running costs by up to 10% per annum and prevent costly repairs.
All our engineers are fully qualified and registered with Gas Safe. They are checked and approved by us before they can be contracted to work for us, saving you the hassle of finding someone you can rely on and trust.
On completion of the service, a Service Safety Certificate is issued to demonstrate compliance with Building, Health and Safety and Landlords regulatory requirements.
The service includes
- Visual check of the LP Gas tank
- Checking the supply line to the tank
- Air supply - combustion and ventilation
- Chimney/flue
- Electrical safety
- Heat exchange - boilers, fires and warm air units
- Combustion chambers
- Firing mechanism
- Appliance safety control checks
- Cleaning the burner
- Inspection for wear and tear - preventing costly breakdowns
- Re-assembly and testing to Gas Safe requirements
The annual boiler service covers the total cost of the annual service on
- A boiler up to 125,000 BTU's - average domestic boiler
- A boiler over 125,000 BTU's - larger or commercial boiler
- An Aga or Converted Rayburn
- A Combi boiler
The boiler service does not cover any parts that need replacing. Any additional work required due to a faulty part can be carried out at the same time where possible and only when the additional cost has been agreed with yourself.
A subsidised Boiler Service Contract is available for all our contracted domestic customers.
To keep things easy we have set up various options for payment of your boiler service.
You can pay by:
Direct debit*
If you pay for your fuel by monthly direct debit.
Cheque
An annual payment to cover the full cost of the service.
Debit/credit card**
An annual payment to cover the full cost of the service.
